Hi all, I just wanted to share some good news I got this week. Some of you may remember I've been having chemo and stem cell treatment over the last 6 months.

Well this week my para-protein level (the nasty stuff) is down to ZERO. 6 months ago the level was at 48 when it should be less than 1, so this is great news.

And to celebrate my friend and I are off to Margaret River one of the best wine regions of Western Australia for a few days R&R. Not that I will be sampling much wine cos my system isn't quite up to that yet, but it will be nice to get away. Must try to find a quilt shop while I'm there.

In the meantime my stash will be guarded by the ferocious guard cat who will probably open the door for you and park himself on your lap should you even look like sitting down :-)))

Knew a cat in Darwin years ago (named by an Air Traffic Controller so her name was "Cahrlie Alpha Tango" of course!) who loved a little diced croc fillet as a treat. Of course Charlie did live in the back bar of the O'Mess so she was not just any cat.
