Wish me luck. I undergo Carpal Tunnel Surgery today on my stitching hand. I broke the arm in October and it never healed straight. So off to have the carpal tunnel thing done. I hope it relieves the numbness in my fingers. Clarice in AZ

Good luck, Clarice - I had that problem years ago, but I was lucky - it was fixed with an injection! Mind you, here I am several years later, and I think it`s back again.

The pain is minimal, but it will take several weeks before the numbness is really gone, so don't be disheartened when there's no immediate effect.

Thanks for all the good thoughts. Dr. found more scar tissue than expected so ended up with very sore wrist. All will be well, I'm sure. Hate I can't stitch for awhile again.
