Just a note to the group. Both Linda 2 and Valerie are okay after Hurricane Francis. Neither have power and they have no idea when they will get power.

My brother and his family are between Orlando and Daytona. They were without power for 55 hrs. They got it back yesterday afternoon. The first thing they did was to take showers. And then came the laundry.
If you hear from them, tell them things are slowly returing to "normal". And batten down the hatches cuz' Ivan's supposed to be a pretty mean dude as well.

Valerie finally has power. She emailed me this afternoon and said they are getting ready for Ivan.
