As the physio applied deep tissue pressure to my, er, upper thigh area, tears of pain flooded down my face. He tried to distract me by asking about my job, my favourite vacation spot etc etc.
I suddenly shouted out "BEADS!!! I'll think about beads...and metal...gold...silver...and hammers, lovely hammers, ball penne, cross penne, planishers....!!!!" I do believe he thought I'd become hysterical at that point.
But it actually worked, it didn't hurt as much. I respond very well to treatment and now, an hour or so after treatment, I feel as light as a feather. As pain relief, I recommend thinking about beads!
