That wasn't the look that my partner face showed when I first told him...we were mentally prepared for no babies worst case scenario...I think it took

10 mins for him to close his mouth;D!

wow..babies! That's wonderful news, Cindy!

I wonder if they'll be identical, or fraternal?

Well the best time to tell (or so the dr said) is around 11 week when my first ultra sound only detected one...at this point it looks like they are identical as they can only see one placenta.

How fabulous, Cindy!!! now, train yourself to sleep anytime you get the chance, you'll need that ability in the next four years.

ps, my landlords have quintuplet 16 year olds....he says "you get used to it".

Cindy, That's terrific!!! I'm very happy for you and your partner. Pregnancy is a wonderful time - I remember being euphoric! Take good care, and we will be thinking of all of you.

Congrats, Cindy. What a scary way to tell someone they'll be having twins.

I have to admit, when I had my kids, at 18 and 20 It didn't do anything for my nipples, and had no problem. I think the only thing I did that was unusual is that I began giving my son cereal at two weeks because he was always still hungry, though I had lots of milk. Sure didn't hurt him any, and he began sleeping through the night as soon as he began getting cereal. He was 9 1/2 lbs at birth.

Oh wow! Congratulations! My parent's neighbors had a similar "surprise" years ago - but didn't find out until the day of delivery. It's always been my favorite "kids" story. First they had a son.... and his parent's were thrilled (he was an only child). Then she got pregnant again - and delivered - surprise! boy/girl twins. Less than a year later, she was pregnant - again.... by then doc was suspicious and ran an ultrasound (rare back in those days) - She came home that night and told him to "sit down' -- and said "it's twins again!" He locked himself in the bedroom and didn't come out for hours... LOL The second set - boy/girl again. The four twins all are blonde like mom - the first son looks like Dad....

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and two healthy, darling babies ....

WOW...lets hope that doesn't happen to us. Carlos is already to get the 'operation' as he is so freaked out...all he keeps thinking is two of everything$$$ :D!! His mom put it in perspective for him...she noted he shouldn't complain...he friend from school in Cuba is pregnant with twins...much more diffiuct to buy things there...even if you need.

Thanks!! It was more scary to have the negative blood work...we were very scared with the decision we thought we may need to make:S!! I'll take this news any day :D!
