OT: Update on my life

Sep 16, 2007 10 Replies

Hi all, my daughter finally had her son on Wed., but we think they took him too early by c-section. At first he had problems breathing and they kept him in NICU, now he's having problems eating. Laura was released today, but Branson is still in hospital. She's staying at a nearby Ronald McDonald house so she can continue trying to feed him. Please send your prayers her way for healing for the both of them and increased strength. Thanks and God Bless.

Karleen, I will say prayers for your family. How early was your grandson? My son was a month early, had trouble nursing, had to supplement for awhile, then gave up and put him on formula and he did much better, though he was always in the 10% percentile. Today he is 25 and almost

6 feet, so it all worked out.

Thanks Patti. They were claiming he was 39 1/2 weeks, but the Ped staff said it was more like 36!!! Due date was supposed to be Oct 4th, and we wondered why they took her in so early. He seems to be making progress. Thanks for your prayers and encouragement!

Thanks sweetness, hope you are feeling better yourself!

Lots of prayers for mother and baby! I hope he's eating and able to go home soon!! Please let us know how they're doing.

As of today, he's still in hospital. He's lost down to 5 lbs 11 oz. Thanks for the prayers!

Karleen,

My thoughts are with you guys. I remember when my family was standing vigil for my nephew; it was rough. He's now healthy and happy and I hope we get news soon that your grandbaby is the same.

((((((hugs)))))))

Prayers and jewelry are what i do best. You can have prayers from me anytime, and certainly have them for this situation with your family.

MUCH LOVE -- Becki

We hope the little booger will get to come home tomorrow. He's gradually gaining his weight back. We'll be so happy! Will keep you posted.

THANKS SO MUCH for all the thoughts and prayers!
