My second husband's mother said some things to me that were absolutely awful. With my husband standing right there. He never opened his mouth. Should have tipped me off right there. When I finally asked him why he never defended me, he said, "you girls just need to work it out for yourselves". I should have shot him and save myself and the rest of the world a lot of grief.
