question about beads lol

What does it mean when they say this:

CHEVRON/GEMOCITE MIX

Well, a chevron is a style of bead that is a kind of layered bead. It's easier to show than to tell. Gemocite is acrylic (plastic) made to look like gemstones.

These are chevrons:

This is gemocite turquoise:

So chevron gemocite to me would sound like acrylic beads in the chevron style.

Hi,

Gemocites are acrylic stones. Does that help?

Best,

Deborah

Okay that explains it. So if I'm trying to stay away from acrylic right now then I shouldn't buy them. LOL

Thank you
