I think maybe my "inexpensive" stuff is a little higher-level than yours. I have a bunch of sterling charms/castings strung on sterling chain or braided-leather neck-cords; I buy the charms in sufficient bulk that I can sell the finished item for $15 and still make a good profit. Then I have some pendants which are large beads strung on headpins, again on sterling chain (which I buy in bulk from Rio). They go for $20 or $25, depending on how expensive the beads were. My earrings range from $10 to $22 -- and I need to make more, I've sold quite a few at the last couple of events. But a lot of people will buy something that's less than $30 on impulse, when a necklace that costs $70 or more will make them hesitate.

Boy do I ever agree with you! I went to our local shop (really dirty 7 messy) and paid $9.00 for gold filled toggle. This is after shopping around! I could beat the price on findings online and through catalogs, but either the minimum is high or the shipping bloats the prices!

Our "inexpensive" stuff is about the same, but for Comic Con, I made "Cheap!" stuff-- under $10 earrings, bracelets, memory-wire chokers, under $5 memory-wire bracelets and those "wire-wrapped rocks" pendants.... I did put up a few high-end-- hovering around $100 for CCI, although on my on-line "stores" and consignment, they're priced over that. I didn't expect to sell any of them, but they were there.... I did expect more of the "mid-priced" items to sell, though (also priced lower at CCI than elsewhere). Kaytee "Simplexities" on

Ah, I see. Yes, there is a difference between "inexpensive" and "cheap"!
