Man, I don't write for 3 weeks and then I drown you all in messages!
We did a show this weekend. It was a pretty nice show. Unfortunately, it was foggy and soggy all day. There were plenty of shoppers, but not many buyers. The first 3 hours I made $17!! It got better, but was not great. I may have made some lucrative shop connections and show connections, in spite of somewhat disappointing sales.
What I wanted to write about is that I had time to line the inside of my tent (the white sides) with farbic. I used fawn colored lace on one wall and a sort of black weave on the back wall. Sales picked up after I did this. It added so much warmth and atmosphere. We will never know if it was the redecorating that helped sales to pick up. I was pleased with the finished look and will have to take my booth slides over with this new look.
