I'm sorry about how bad Sat. was, but I'm glad things turned around for you on Sunday! That's great! And hubby is a definite keeper!! What a guy!

This weekend was my big show at Mt. Gretna Pa. I set up on Friday and came in Saturday to my tent collapsed because of a huge storm that went through on Friday night. I lost tables, containers and displays. I was just sick when I saw the mess I had went I arrived. Thank God my DH went out and bought new tables etc. so I could even set up on Saturday. It continued to storm which made it miserable. I had a very bad spot to even set up since it wasn't very visible from the foot traffic and my husband had to ask people to come up the little hill to see my stand. Thank God he was there or I would not have had the sales that I did have. Sales were really down because of the weather and I spent more than I made on Saturday. The highlight of the day was seeing JoAnne Paules who showed up and showed me her pretty crystal bracelets and beads her mom brought her back from Alaska.

Now for the good news, Sunday was as beautiful as Saturday was miserable. We still had problems getting people up the little hill to see my stand but when they got there, they all said that it was the best jewelry at the show which made me feel great. I would love to do this show next year with a better spot and nicer weather since I know that sales would be double what I make with a better location. I feel this is like having a baby, you forget the pain after a while and are willing to do it all over again in a year. I am very tired and exhausted but all in all it was still better sales then most of the stands around me. My husband is the best guy in the world for working so hard for me, I could never had been able to pay anyone to do what he did for me. Roxan

HER HUSBAND WAS TERRIFIC!!! He was all but taking people by the hand and taking back to her little alcove. And Roxan's collars have to be seen for real to appreciate the beauty. Photos will not do them justice.

I saw so many things - including a swamp the next "road" down from you. We had mud all over us. What a mess! I hope that next year you have a better spot - and better weather for both days.

I'm so glad the entire show wasn't a bust! And what a guy you have there, sounds like you're both lucky to have each other. :=)

Wow, what a tale! And I am super envious of our JoAnn for getting to see your work in person, too... I know you had the best jewelry at the show, I didn't even have to be there to know that because there are so few who do work as good as yours.
