For those of you whow will be in the Houston, TX area this coming Friday or Saturday (April 8-9), the West Houston Quilt Guild (WHQG) is having a Quilt Show, "In a Quilter's Garden", on those days in Katy.

your mouse cursor over "2011 WHQG Quilt Show" in the left side bar to see a menu for their show related info. I went to the show that they held a couple years ago and really enjoyed myself. If I am remembering correctly, it took us an hour or two to see everything, and we didn't do any shopping at the vendor's tables. It was far less fancy than the Houston IQF (International Quilt Festival), but very nice . I plan to attend bright and early on Friday morning.
