We are hoping the infection didn't get into the bone and joint. So far, following the start of treatment, which seems to be affecting him very positively, we think it is just in his soft tissue. YAAAAYYYY!!!

He is already perky and (almost) too active. Wow!
My pain is the same, but my stamina is better since I've been exercising more (walking only). Merc is here, and he's never going to leave again, and we're so happy happy happy here I can't even TELL you. KLUNK! BONK!

You know what sweetie? Without the stress of the Evil Ex, I bet you will have more energy to take care of Merc. Just dealing with that nasty piece-of-poo-on-a-stick was so incredibly draining for you, *every single time* you had to be near him or even just his *wife* you would come home sick and exhausted. He is poison, and now that he's out of your life for good you will get to have a chunk of your energy back. Thank the gods!
