More swirly beads

formatting link
In the clay folder are the newest swirly beads. The pink and green ones are much crisper looking than the photo shows, they vibrate! The oriental ones (thats what DH said they looked like) are the second ones where I deliberately tried to achieve a specific look, and Im terrifically pleased with them. The gold ones arent baked yet. I dont know if I like them yet. What I would appreciate is some idea of how you would put them together to make jewelry. What do you think would set them off? Thank you for looking, Diana

I love them all, but my favorites are the gold ones you aren't sure about! And may I just say your rose ornaments are incredible?!!!!

Thank you and thank you! I hope to make the ornaments as a small home business when Meg is a little older. They are so fun, not so hard on the hands as beads. :-) For now the ornies go to friends so they can beta test them for me. One made it to Australia in one piece! There is where most of my roses go, on non jewelry items. How is the halloweeny idea going for you? Diana

Going well-- I just made my best rose ever--and I used inclusions! I put a ton of Pumpkin Pie Spice in there, in the hopes of it smelling of it once it's baked:)

Pretty!! I think crystals would be nice with both of them. I actually like the goldies best. :)

OMTP, I can see those goldies setting around my neck!

If I make something else that sends you, let me know. Im doing this for fun, and giving them away is FUN. If you make something from them Id love to see pics. Candace spoke for the gold set, but there are more beads coming. I love when I get lost in the learning! Diana

Mercury is adorable, the swirlies on all remind me of a kalidescope (sp?) but your little frog on a bead is _wonderful_! :)

The gold ones are cool, too... I especially like the coral-pink in them. Maybe pair them with hot pink?

Thank you for all the praise! The frog on bead is a favorite to do. When Meg was first born we sat on a sofa nursing together and a frog came and did its froggy thing on the window behind us. Mmmm.. pink with the gold.. sounds nummy. Diana
