If you already know this and I am teaching you all to suck eggs, just ignore me but I was really pleased to find out that you can use the embossing folders in your sidekick.
When I got the sidekick I wondered if I could use the embossing folders if I cut down the excess bit of the folder so it would fit, and so I emailed Sizzix to ask. To be honest I didnt expect them to answer or say you could cos after all they are a big company, and they want you to buy the new product if and when it comes out.
But...
They did! I had a nice email back the same day and the person said yes you could trim down the embossing folders and if you make the sandwich of folder and plates fatter with extra shims they would go through the sidekick.
So this weekend I tried it and it worked.
Looking at the embossing folders they seem to have differernt sized ones. I dont know that the biggest ones are small enough even if you do trim the excess off but the little ones like the funky little heart I got worked a treat. I am hoping the new letters are the right size too cos I REALLY want those.
