you I was a little nervous about "coming out"!

Those are your firsts? Wonderful! Isn't working with wire fun? And there's something about hammering that's soooooo therapeutic!

BTW, I'm a bit of a bracelet freak and I think your amazonite bracelet is way cool.

Welcome out of the closet!

Yeah, it sure is. Love them all, but the bracelet ROCKS (no pun intended)!

Me too, but other people seem to be getting in...

Your getting an error message probably has to do with not being a member of the beadershaven group at yahoo. You can become a member by going through the process. I think Sooz is the one who started it, but I am not sure.

Christy,

Thanks for sharing your pics! Really neat!

If you have small pieces, you can always put them in a caged pendant setting. I've done this with several polished rocks.

Judging by what you've already done you'll have a fab time there and make some gorgeous stuff for us to drool over when you get back! :)

Thanks for trying, guys and ladies. Yes - somewhere on that sight is a sign up. No hassle, please do. I'm a glutton for input and really notice who doesn't!

Hmmm...that's an offer I can't refuse! What are you in need of?

If you haven't changed your mind you can email me at mklau598 AT sbcglobal DOT net.

Thank you, Lisa. I keep checking, but the wire classes are always full. I'll squeak in there somehow! Meanwhile I'll just keep experimenting.

Also check the classes at Wildacres- (Little Switzerland NC)they have fewer (3 or 4?) sessions but I know they teach wire. You have to be a member of a mineralogical society to take a class, but if there isn't a local society they have one you can join.
