Re: Update on my whining

As I mentioned, I've been feeling worse than rotten all week. Today, I had a

Thank you. I try to be helpful where I can be. My body might not work very well, but my mind is still as okay as it ever was, and if I can help anyone with my words, then I'm not entirely useless.

Obligatory Bead reference: Quite a while back, I bought 1,000 yards of 4 lb. grey Fireline. Figured I'd have Fireline to last me _years_, especially since all my strung necklaces go on wire, not line.

I figured wrong. I just finished that huge spool last night while working on my funky Dutch Spiral. I'm now working with the 500 yds of white PowerPro that I bought over the summer. It's a lot more "thread-like," and makes a much softer piece. I think I'll use it for mainly flat work, since I prefer that the tubular pieces and spirals have a little more body.

I have a sketchbook full of ideas, and I hope to bring some of them into reality within the next few days, as soon as I'm well enough to bead.

I'm diabetic but you might know that I was one of the minority who actually GAIN weight as a symptom....

But I did lose 60 lbs in two months one time due to allergic reactions to chemicals in food. You might want to get that checked out if you aren't diabetic.

Hope you feel better soon.
