WHAT did y'all give me? This is HORRIBLE!!!! I was fine yesterday then woke about 3am and practically ran to the bathroom. It's now just before
4am and I have a sore throat and my ears hurt. My nose is running non-stop and I feel like I'm going to be spending more time in the bathroom pretty soon.Cecelia
Oh Cecelia! That sounds like the bug I had. It is pretty awful all right! I got mine the day after Thanksgiving and am still not completely over it. I did the running to the bathroom yesterday ! DH thinks maybe I had a couple of viruses at the same time. All I can say is rest,drink lots of fluids and rest somemore.

Just like Sabrina, I've had that since Thanksgiving and am still not over it. Take care of yourself and follow Sabrina's advice, she knows!!! Hope you feel better soon and here is hoping that this IS the flu and once we are done with it, that's it for this year!!!

That sounds like what I have too. The sore throat has let up, but like April my ears are clogged. Now I thought the running to the bathroom was a completely different thing. Didn't occur to me it was part of the flu. I don't remember the flu kicking my butt this much when I was in my 20's and
30's. Now in my 40's I'm a lump on the couch.Lynne

Lynne, It gets a little better when it goes into your chest. The runny eyes and nose are the demoralizing part. I hate when tears just flow and my nose drips!!

Oh I hate it when my eyes water! Some time ago, my allergies really flared up and my eyes were tearing almost constantly. Oh the looks I got in public! LOL Hope you get to feeling better all you sickies and glad Sabrina's feeling better.
I hope you get over it as quickly as I did. I started running to the bathroom about 7 am Sunday and felt really lousy all over but by about 4 that afternoon I felt much better and even enjoyed going out to dinner that night with the family. Peggy from NJ

Selena, have you tried that "Airborne" stuff invented by a teacher to prevent colds. Oprah swears by it, but I think that you have to be pretty rich to use it! It's pretty expensive!
No...I had heard about it a few weeks ago from a collegue. She swears by it. I haven't tried it yet though.
