Request, ignore it if you want

I generally don't kill things either. Not because of the guilty thing, but because I think that one of the reasons we were put here is to be protectors of the environment and the creatures that live here. And most of the time, if something bites, stings or threatens us, it is because they are afraid and are just protecting themselves or their young, or have been startled. I also find all around us to be so fascinating and the design of things simply amazing. Humans try to copy these things and can to a certain extent but never with the same effectiveness as the original natural design.

Any rate, enough rambling...

I love spiders too and have no fear about getting nose to nose with them to examine their beauty. In Aussie I left things like huntsmen alone beacause they eat lots of nasties like 'roaches and mossies.

Mine is politics. I watch enough on tv and read enough to be informed, but don't like it because everyone gets so riled up.

I know I didn't ask not to ever gross us out. I just don't want to read stuff that I would normally delete, if it were sent to me. I like spider webs, girl!

Yep, I can usually tell by the poster whether I want to go look or not. Sometimes I end up wasting my time.

There is one person who, I swear, could post a direct link to God and I would pass it by, thinking it was more stupidity. LOL.

That is the point, sweetness. Things with beads in it are appropriate.

Me too, I think. But I know how to eliminate subjects, etc. Don't ask me how I learned. I think it was an accident. :-o ~~ Sooz

OH GOOD!

Because I just HAVE to share......When I went to the supermarket today, I grabbed a cart and when wheeling away. Thank goodness I looked down before I got very far.

There, squished into the babyseat part before me, was a turd! I KID YOU NOT. A squished-into-the-seat, partially-dried baby turd. No, I don't think it was something else resembling a turd. (I've seen lots of turds in my life.)

I got another cart. And cleaned my hands with that no-water-needed stuff.

Yes - when I posted that I didn't read the spiderweb thread, that was my own personal thing, because I am so afraid of spiders that I avoid them at all costs - even on the internet. LOL I can't even look at glass spider sculptures!! I wasn't irritated by that thread at all - just passed it on by. I don't really get irritated unless I see an over-abundance of off-topic stuff that has nothing to do with our own lives or beads - such as jokes, gross things, links to OT websites without explanation, etc. Once in awhile is totally cool, a whole lot (like lately) is a minor irritation. It just takes me a few extra minutes to weed out those threads. No huge deal. I think calling attention to it might just have the desired effect - it's a request, not a requirement, and no hard feelings if it doesn't happen. We're unmoderated after all. Thank goodness we are mostly troll-less and have relatively little spam here. Other groups are ten times worse.
