*sigh*

I've been happily anticipating a gem and mineral show that was going to take place at the local fairgrounds. Until yesterday, when I realized the schedule I had been looking at online was from 2003 and it was over two days ago. *sob*

So, what are everyone's favorite sources for cabochons?

Agreed. I have some cabs I'm happy with from Rio, but there seem to be enough rock hounds around that I can get them from locals. So I buy them when I see them and wait for inspiration. Especially for unusual stones. If you want 8 matching cabs though, a local might not have them. Since I have always been happy with Rio's stones, I would choose them for half a dozen turquoise, or topaz, or rhodochrosite, etc. They are a little higher, but worth it.

You can buy from GOD at the local gem club? Wow. All this time I thought He was hiding out at church. The things you learn on RCB.

Lol! Reminds me of when a friend asked about a cab I was wearing, and I told him that the guy who made it was a friend. I MEANT to say that I knew the guy who cut the cab for me. My friend had to tease me and said, "Wow! You're friend's with God? You know Him?" I told him, "Yes, his name is Norm, and he's Jewish!"

That was suppose to be, "......friends with God?" not "friend's with God?". I hate it when I make stupid errors! I think faster than I type, but sometimes they muddle together.
