Soo, my kitty cat, Ami, has always been great when it came to my beading. She's never stolen off with them to play, I've never found them in the litterbox, and she loves to help me dig all the Styrofoam peanuts off new bead orders when they arrive. Little did I know, she was just biding her time.....
I woke up this morning, and as I'm walking by my bead station, I notice that my box was tipped over. Sucks, I thought, one of the kids must've knocked the table. I started to talk to Isaac (3yrs) about it, and he innocently said, "No, Mom, the kitty did it." Then my eyes started to expand, and I found every last pearl I have scattered about the floor, surrounding a smelly "kitty present". AAAARRRRGGGGGG!!!!!! So, here I am, with a cold so bad, I can hardly see, first thing in the morning, picking pearls out of crap. The ONLY brightside is that I can't SMELL anything, with this cold. Most of them are ok, but I'll be washing them ALL; I did sacrifice a 3mm turquoise round to the mess, but I think it was reconstituted, anyway.
I know why s he did it, too...those little beads were just innocent scapegoats, the poor things. Ami gets no table scraps whatsoever, with one small exception: she gets to drink the tuna water when I drain it. Last night, while making Tuna Helper, I didn't give it to her, and she *cried* for two hours! Stinkin' cat, thinks she owns the place!
