Yippeeeee! Jessamy has really hit the big time! I'm so proud of her, and proud to know her.

Jessamy, if you read this, come back and say hello some time and let us hear all about your adventures.

Hugs, Sunny

I really loved that "Northern Lights quilt in the Naturescapes series.

However it seem the fabric as been discontinued. Perhaps as well, I may never have got around to doing it.

Since January my heart problems have took a turn for the worse. Been rushed into hospital twice with sirens going and lights falshing. Heart beating at about 200 per min. Was and still am in danger of having a major stroke. Recent tests are not promising so now I take each day as it comes. Do not go far away from home and never on my own. I really must try and get the energy to do the crib quilt I was planning.

GS made a babies crib at school as part of his exams, and I promised to sort him a mattress out and make a quilt. Alas I have done neither. Hugs Shirley

So sorry to hear about your scary health problems Shirley. That must be slowing you down. What a pity. Hang tough, as they say! . In message , Shirley Shone writes

Jenn, i dont know about the fabrics but i do know that Jess had those patterns online before she vanished. if i had more energy i'd fly over to NL and find her raggedy patootie to see what has happened. :( j.

i just got an email from our best friends here. the dh just got a job in Belguim starting early Nov. probably be there for a couple of years. he is from NL and the two places are side by side so they'll be up there often visiting the family no doubt. they've lived in various places over the past decade or so and tho we've always had an open invitation, we've never taken them up on a visit mostly cuz my dh has his 6 day a week, dont get sick, dont take holidays one man self employed business. sure i've done the two trips back to usa/canada in 05/06, mostly to take care of moms stuff. Deb has told me already the open invitation still stands as per usual. i might just take her up on it but not sure when. i dont fancy the freezing european temps in winter so might leave it til next spring. then again, there is always business to take care of in usa and visits there in Washington, PIQF i've not made it to since going there way back in early

90s (pre-quilting knowledge of any note, lol) and Houston also calls in Oct. hmmmmm. must give this some serious consideration. so much to think about yet again. uh oh, also email asked if we could take their cat as they dont want to leave her at SPCA or have her put to sleep either. she is an old cat who lives indoors (comes with her own big dirt box, but who'd get the fun and games of cleaning it, ewwwwww). our old gal cat (17yrs) goes out in the garden to do her business and never takes well to visiting cats (dd sometimes brings her up here when they come for xmas). oh dear, so much to figure out. sorry, just thinking all this out on paper or is this outloud, whatever. argh, i dont know what to do about the cat, shes a good old girl but my KC does not like other cats at all. then there is the worry of she got sick. i'm not sure i'll ever be prepared when KC has issues due to old age. hell i'm not sure i'm prepared for the issues i'm facing due to old age. oh what to do.... : - / j.

If you get as far as Belgium (there's no bad weather, only poor clothing!), consider an extension to Munich! My DD2 lives in Brussels, she comes down often for visits.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's cat, and h>i just got an email from our best friends here.

Thank them for thinking so well of you. So well.is the trick phrase. Explain that you don't think YOUR old cat could handle a new one.territorial issues and all that.

Just WHAT is keeping you home with invites like that?

GO, GIRL, GO.
