P.S.: No clue about the wand and if it's a pagan thing or something fairy godmothers carry. I have to bow out on it anyway, because beading is really hard for me right now. feh.

I don't particularly want to swap, but I'll gladly share pictures of one DW made for my BeadWizard display

Thin brass rod, 18", brass bead soldered to the end as a stopper. Brass and glass beads slipped over the rod. The big "jewel" is an acrylic piece, with the pointy end where there was a horizontal hole cut off, then drilled to slip over end of rod. Now if I can figure out how to do all this over brass tube, so I can run wire up to an LED inside the crystal......

yes well I'm still trying to figure out how to do one since I don't do any beadweaving at all. Ya know a mandrel with a really pretty bead on it looks like a wand :)
