That you will, Lisa! My favorite is the #3 breakfast meal. Love those fat laden hash browns. Luckily it's not often I get to McDs for breakfast.
Fresh ground Dunkin Donuts (minus the donuts, darn it!) coffee does it every time!

]If that's the average, then there have to be a lot of nickle-and-dime ]dilettantes counterbalancing -this- group...
exactly!
[and i see them in the LBS. picking out one bead at a time, on a board, to go sit in the back and string one necklace.]----------- @vicki [SnuggleWench] (Books)

Welcome Lisa!!
Ooooh, a quilter. First off, I have to say that your beaded glasses cases are gorgeous, and I want one!!! Lovely, lovely work in your gallery. Also, you'll fit right in if you are planning on sacrificing food for beads. I am glad you found us - and have fun posting in this madhouse!
Forget the coffee -- just give me the Dunkin Donuts! Beats Krispy Kreme right into the ground...

Sorry. If you've had my great-aunt Grace's homemade donuts, nothing else is even in the running.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Krispy Kreme raised and glazed... Fresh out of the glaze bath. OMG. Heaven.
Why are they so popular (KK's)? They're small, expensive, too sweet, and they all taste the same.
A mini coffee bean grinder cost me 6 dollars. Beans from the store... mmmmmmm.. Nice savings there for you for a little work... Diana
yes, we did thank you! You go ahead and yak at me all you like. i have no problem saying bye when i need. Looking at links from this group is like looking at food in a store window for a starving man. Simply wonderful. Buzz me when you see me online... k? Diana
Thank you Kandice! I consider this a high complement coming from such an accomplished artist. We could talk trade off list sometime if you want :-)
So that was you my dd saw at the front door?

About 8 seconds worth of work.

Yep. It smells so heavenly, why would I pay someone else to do it for me? Ok...everyone is invited to my house this weekend for beading, swedish cardamom coffee bread and.... homemade espresso and cappacinos!!!!! DH makes the java, Ill whip up the sweet bread. Diana
Thanks for the compliment, but I should warn you that I can be slow to ship, too. I try to make sure my work is worth any wait though :-) 95% of the time, I'm a very fast shipper. And I suspect that will bump up to 100% when I hire my studio assistant! YAY!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I do grind my own beans. But it has nothing to do with saving money. As a matter of fact, it's the same cost. What I think is sneaky is that when you get bags of gourmet coffee in the store, they keep the price "competitive" by selling 10 or 12 oz instead of a pound. I get my coffee fresh roasted every week or two and then keep the beans frozen. $10 lb for French Roast. Yum.
And of course we have one of those little stainless steel "manual" espresso machines for travel. You can even use a torch with those.

]did anyone see the Dunkin Donuts Cop Car on Monster Garage on Monday? If ]not, you can catch it Saturday evening on the Discovery. It's a ]self-contained donut maker, including sprinkles, glaze, etc, and display ]case, inside a real cop car. It was FUNNY as Heck!
okay. story time.
Jamie spent one summer in the ROP program working for the Sacramento Police Department. on her breaks every day she would wander through the building, peeking in open doors, etc.
finally, someone stopped her and asked if she was looking for someone in particular.
she said, no, she was looking for where they kept the donuts.
broke up everyone within hearing range, and she was known as "the donut girl" the rest of the summer!
