RECENTLY I PURCHASED A CROSS WITH A 24" SILVER LOOKING CORD/CHAIN - AND I BROKE THE CORD - I'VE DONE A LITTLE BEADING. AND WAS LOOKING IN MY FIRE MOUNTAIN CATALOG - IS THIS SILVER CORD -CALLED FRENCH WIRE? IF NOT WHAT IS THE CORD CALLED AND WHAT TYPE FINDINGS WOULD YOU USE. WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE. DD

French wire cannot be used for chains, it's too lightweight (it's like a watch spring).

What you probably have is a snake chain. If you can upload a pic to the web and post a link, we could probably tell you what it is.

(and please don't use ALL CAPS - it's considered 'shouting')
