Viruses

Sep 06, 2003 4 Replies

Someone who has me in their address book apparently has a virus (I'm getting a bunch of bounced messages that supposedly came from me but didn't). Viruses are the reason I don't even keep an address book on the computer, and is also the reason I ask people NOT to put me in their address book. If I'm in your address book - please take me out. Thanks!

For a long time I didn't realize that OE was automatically putting everyone in the world in my address book until one day I looked at it and went "Who the heck are all these people, there are a ton of them". But I found the option to turn that off. Now I just have to remember to go to the Sent Items and delete those periodically.

Bleh! I know how you feel, Carol. It happend to me too, and I think over a few days I must have had over 500 e-mails because of that stupid virus!

vj found this in rec.crafts.beads, from mªdcªt :
