Really? I didn't know that the idea was put forth before. It would be voluntary of course. I wouldn't put a link to anyone's site who didn't want it to be on there.

I think the issue was that personal web sites were not going to be on Sooz's links list. I think that if someone wanted to maintain a links list that would be great. However, we could just add a bookmarks database to the database link in the Beadershaven Yahoo! group:

Yes, I was thinking that exactly. There also has to be bead content on the page, although if it is mixed (like quilting and beads or something) that's ok too. My reason for doing this is that I've been wanting to see what everyone has done, and I'd like a list of all the RCB'ers who sell beads too. Putting it all on one page would be wonderful and easy for all.

Ooh - I think this is a good idea! (and I've actually registered a domain name for a web page. Nothing there yet....)

It does sound like a lovely idea. And one that lets people who don't do Yahoo Groups sounds like it would be more useful, since there are some who either can't or don't want to.

That may be, but lots of bead pages for RCBers aren't there, either.

Well, for example mine isn't. And shouldn't be. I don't have a professional page set up. But I'd like to like to my personal site, which has some beadwork on it. I'd like to see persanal pages for us, even more than just the professional links.

Yes! That's what I want to do. Both personal and professional actually. Professional pages because I for one would rather shop through one of us than a "stranger". And personal pages so newbies and "oldies" can enjoy the different things we all do.
