Well, it has been one yucky day. Flooded roads and major vehicle issues - I could have done without both, especially the second.
After Keith and I went out for supper, I thought I'd sit downstairs on the sofa, light the fireplace, turn on the TV, and get some beading done. I managed to finish a double row RAW crystal bracelet and started a twisted Ndebele necklace. I bought the prettiest glass holly leaf pendant at Bead Fest last October and was trying to figure out what kind of necklace to put it on. A friend suggested a 4-bead Ndebele made with 15° seed beads. I've only recently learned how to do this - and that was with 8° seed beads. BIG difference. I really like the way the twist looks with the smaller beads. I have about 2" completed in about an hour and a half. Not something I can spend a long period of time on - I have to take my glasses off to see the beads. (Progressive lenses don't work well with beading.)
This weather is crappy but it does lend itself to guilt-free beading!
