I'm 53 yrs old and have used nonsexist terms since college. I listen to young people in the studio where I am a Head person and most of the young art school graduates we hire use nonsexist terms. I think the writer falls into the trap of thinking because THEY think something EVERYBODY thinks that way don't they? Easy enough to do when you're in the majority group...but that don't make it so.
