What kind of bag? As in purse? Or, as in drawstring? Or, whatever you have in mind?

Good idea,

thought about that one too. I think there are many possibilities, ranging from just a bag to keep stitching stuff right down to evening bags using very fine silks, metallics, sparkles like beads and crystals...

That a good ideas but i kind of worried if i had put a lot of decoration it can make my bag look messy? do you have any ideas about the suitable design?

If you're making a bag for summer, flowers and butterflies and other seasonal things would work. The design should be sized in proportion to the bag and has to be something you want to carry around. I wouldn't worry about the top being messy. More importantly, you'll need to think about lining the bag so its contents won't snag the threads if your threads go through to the inside of the bag.

The design shouldn't be overpowering and always in line with the use. For an evening bag for example I would use silk with a very good lining inside, a lovely, subtle Hardanger motif to sew on, not too large, and containing a metal thread. Perhaps an outlining of the bag with small beads or tiny crystals. That's all.

If you think along the lines of a carry-all bag (for the stitching stuff for example), a nice sturdy fabric, perhaps wool embroidered, or with stitching motifs on it like needles, scissors eg. There are so many things one could do.

Just a couple of ideas.
