Different fabrics

I don't know folks - I like aida for certain things, it just works better.

The kit I just started came with 14 count aida. I tried 2 different 28 count "even weaves" (one was a Monaco, the other unlabeled)- it looked wrong. Aida was the right fabric this time.

Yep, you will find that Aida is just right for certain projects. It all depends on what you like and what works best for the design.

It's always fun to try different fabrics though...as well as different fibers, needles and designers! I've become very stuck on Joblean fabric...need to break my routine and try something else sometime soon!

The whole idea of stitching is to enjoy yourself and your project!

That reminds me of a baby piece that I tried switching fabrics - it looked all wrong!
