Happy Dance!

First of all, thanks to those of you who gave me ideas on how to embellish this piece. It is truly a piece I will always be proud of and I hope that its recipients will think so too.

I just finished this morning this x-stitch. Here is a link to the photo:

If you choose to look further into this album, you will find a photo of the original work. The changes I made are: added blending filament to the window to give it a warm, but frosty look (if that makes any sense...); changed the colour of the dress to match the bride's gown; changed the bride and groom to silks; used wisper blended with DMC for the fur on the cape. In a previous discussion, I had looked for opinions on how to use the wisper and I decided that a fully fur-lined cape would be most appropriate give a New Years Eve wedding in Alberta! Now I just have to save up some pennies to frame it. Good thing I still have lots of time. :)
