help with pcstitch pro

Good morning everyone.

I have q uick question for thos eproficient in the use of PCStitch pro.

I am trying to print out just the floss info sheet (with the floss symbols and numbers on it and any notes I may have added). I can't figure out how to do this; if I go to the printing option in the program, it will only allow me to print out this floss list/sheet at the end of printing out all the pattern sheets. How can I print out just the floss list?

Thanks

I dont have PCStitch, but usually when there is a Print option, you can select the page to print by page number. Clearly you need to know what page number you want. HTH. Jim.

Yup, that's the way things usually work, but not in this program: if you create a pattern, and it takes 8 pages to print it, the floss list is page 9, but it won't let you select just page 9. In fact, the page number only goes to 8.

Can you attack the problem via the printer and ask the printer to print off page 9 ? That might circumvent it.

Another thought. Have you tried contacting PCStitch? Jim.

Contacting PCStitch would take all the fun out of solving the problem!

I think I have found a way to do it. When previewing before printing, it lets you select how to display the cross stitches and the backstitching. If you set the crosses display as to none, and the backstitch displays as to none, and set the gridding on all pages to non, and then hit print, it only prints off the floss list!

What a convoluted way to get what I wanted!

Just curious here, did it print off 8 or so blank pages before printing the floss list?

No. Thankfully all it printed was the floss list.

I was going to suggest just highlighting the list of floss symbols and numbers and then doing Ctrl P. Or, highlighting the list and pasting it into Word, then printing it from there. Haven't tried it myself, but I would think that might work.
