How much DO you actually stitch and how much time do you spendthinking about it ;)?I usually get about an hour a day in - which makes some of those bigprojects slow going! Oh, good heavens no! Those are the ones I'm having issues with as well as what's called Scotch cottonthistle.

In fact, in Missouri, both of those species are considered noxious weeds, and according to Missouri statute #263.460, "the prosecuting attorney for each county declared a noxious weed control area may bring an action in the circuit court of the county to enjoin such nuisance."

Anyway, I can't stand 'em.

We're not really sure. Those danged Elizabethans didn't leave any color swatch books! My guess is that it would be sort of a greenish- ashen kind of color. Goose-turd Green, on the other hand, is ... well, ... you know ....

which uses Thread Gatherer Silk n' Colors, and one of the colours is "Pond Scum" (yikes). It actually is a lovely blend of greens and golds. The pattern also uses Silk n' Perle, Gloriana Silk , Kreinik Silk Mori, metallics, and English Boucle.MargW
