I've come out of lurk and have posted a bit, but never introduced myself. I'm Gina...I'm a mom, a navy wife and a student (education, geosciences 5-12th grade.) I'm in Naples, Italy at the moment. Right now I'm working on three cross stitch patterns by Long Dog..Rosemarkie, St. Sylvestre and St. Georges. I've also just recently purchased Pompeii Gardens and Tuscan town mandelas from chatelaine designs but haven't started yet. (I'm waiting for materials for Pompeii..the tuscan town pattern wont be released for a few weeks). I'm also a member of the SCA and make medieval (13th century scottish) clothing for that. I'm on about 15 other usenet newsgroups...Nice to meet you all...there is a picture group related to this one?

Hi Gina

There is a yahoo group for photos. Hopefully Sheena gets you the info to join.

I lust after many of the Long Dog samplers and the Chatelaine pieces as well. You have good taste ;)

and apply.Be sure to put a message with it so I know you really are a stitcherand not a spammer lol

Well, I have several, and if you have the patience to wait the years it's gonna take me to finish them, I'll be more than happy to pass them along. Although, to be honest, I may be ten years older before Bagatelle gets done. Too many books, too little time.. LOL Tegan

I intend to have Rosemarkie done shortly..next 10 hour rotation...if you don't mind it being marked up a bit and slightly wrinkly (I'm somewhat hard on patterns) You can have it when I'm done...

Bless you! I won't mind at all!

Cheryl

Email me your snail mail addy please and I'll send it off when done :-)

Sent off list!

Tell me, do you like the Laurel K. Hamilton books? I've read a few and find them creepy but compelling... C
