New Photos

*($*($#*&$% Webshots has changed their photo upload system again and not offered ANY info on how to use it! The uploading isn't a problem but I can't find any way to rotate and crop my photos! So -- I have added photos of the tree skirt I am working on for the SMDGD. Every year her Grandma Ferguson (DD's Evil MIL) and I each stitch a small design which I sew to the tree skirt. They are cute designs and mine have all been bunnies, lambs or kitties. Big surprise

-- LOL! Anyway, they are sideways in the album and have a lot of extraneous "stuff" around them because I can't crop the *$*($%% photos. VBS -- I have sent negative feedback to Webshots and e-mail their tech support people. Who knows how long it will take before I find out how to edit the photos. If any of the techies here who belong to Webshots knows anything about this, PLEASE let me know, OK?? CiaoMeow >^;;^<

I do wonder what the SMD part stands for.

Well, I'm not really partial to little kids so I call them maggots and this seems to upset a lot of folks. Of course, the DGD is a Sweet Maggot but even that upsets many people so I just use the abbreviation

-- SMDGD :-). Oh -- I got a response back from Webshots. I have to jump through about 40 hoops to get to where I can edit my photos but I got 'er done and you can see the pic right side up without all the extraneous stuff :-). CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. TM, you have just solved my problem!

I had an idea for a tree skirt, but at some point along the circumference, I was going to have to convert charts from Xs to +s so things wouldn't appear on the diagonal. Not to mention the PITA of schlepping the whole tree skirt around for decades till I'm done. But if I stitch them separately, trim the fabric following the outline of stitching, and then applique the evenweave to the huge piece of fabric...

You're a genius!!!!!! Have I told you lately that I love you?
