New words

My kids have a couple of words they made up that they like to use and I've picked up on - one is "smartical," which just means you are very smart (usually said when you state the obvious).

The other is a great stash word though - and it came to mind yesterday when I received a package of threads - "prettiful." Just full of prettiness and beauty :)

So - do you have any good, made up words we should be using?

I worked with a young man who when someone quit our office came up with the reason for her to quit as "generalfedupedness."

I always liked that one.

Mad a male friend who loved to say 'fresh-squozed" juice - affected me like nails on the blackboard.

OTOH, when we are decidedly not that way, we in our family can get extremely aggranoyed.

Has anyone heard the expression "bumfuzzled"? I had a friend who used to say that when he was frustrated with something (or someone). Then my kids were always (NOT) "bein hayve"

I liked the one that came up in another thread: recommendating. We do lots of that around here!

I have a long pointy pair of scissors at work that I call my "toad stabbers"...does that count? I have no idea why I call them that, it just came out of my mouth one day and it stuck!

Knowing you, the name popped into your head instead of using your boss' name lol

Nah. I like my boss! I've worked for her for nearly 30 years (ugh, that makes me feel really *old*!) and she's (thank heavens) very flexible. Or, more likely, she knows I'll never change! LOL She's also a good friend.
