Ok Ladies, a friend has just shown me a book - The Quick & The Thread by Amanda Lee. Has anyone read her? If so, what do you think? I love Monica Ferris and have now read everything but the newest - which is being shipped to me at the moment - I am in need of other stitching novels to tide me over until Monica writes another so any suggestions will be most welcome.

I read it last week....someone here had talked abut it a while back, so I ordered i from the library. It was entertaining...not deep, but I enjoyed it.I like mysteries anyway, and the setting is in a small town in Oregon........a part of the country I haven't visited.
Her second book in that series is due out this summer, I think. I will make a point of reading it.

Ok - so now that I'm not going to read it completely blind, I'll nab it at BN next trip!

Agree with Gillian. Entertaining, a quick read but not deep. Every once in awhile I need one of those.

I've read it. It fits in with what I have seen referred to as "cozy" mysteries. I love this genre of mysteries.

I read it and enjoyed it, and am looking forward to the next one.

Thanks everyone for the reviews - I will definately go ahead & get it, her second book comes out here in a couple of weeks so I'll include that in my order list as well.
