I've recently discovered Tana French. I liked "Into the Woods" a lot (came out about two years ago) but I REALLY liked her new book, "Faithful Place."
ITW is a police procedural, set in Ireland. FP is a "cold case" mystery at heart, but is really a novel about a Dublin family in which one of the adult siblings is a cop. Loved the characters.

I read her first 2 books and was waiting for the paperback version of this 3rd one "Faithful Place" before buying it. I may have to break down and read the hardbound version from the library though. The first book was very good although I was one of many people who found the ending a little ... unfinished. Glad to hear you liked it!
