Miss Kitty is looking for a new place to live after breaking the tree, breaking the lights, and breaking some ornaments.
She loves to chew on floss, so you won't have to lick it at all. And if you're working with rayon and would ordinarily drag the whole strand across a damp sponge, you'll be presented with pre-dampened floss.

It wasn't a puppy. It was a full-grown cat, who was miffed that her sister wouldn't put up with having her ears washed for 2 hours straight. She needed a baby, so she picked up a skein in her teeth and carried it around the house, leaving a trail for me to follow.
Which is much better than when she grabs an unstarted skein ... I'll pick up a bag that's supposed to have 7 skeins of one dye lot and it only has 4. Since they weren't attached to anything, I get to guess which bed or couch she left them under.

LOL! Like our cavaliers!
About the sunglasses, John always needs his when the sun`s out. He had then from the optician rather than buy them from a pharmacy. Our optician said that all ordinary sunglasses are supposed to be rated at zero, but having tested a lot of retail sunglasses, even really "good" ones, he`s found no end of anomolies.
Judging from the weather reports, he`ll need the, to combat snow glare tomorrow! LOL! Our side of the country has severe snow warnings for the nect couple of days (starting tonight). I hope the roads get cleared enough for my grandson to get to me and network my desktop and my laptop. I have them both online, but they won`t talk to each other!

Strangely enough, the glare hasn't bothered me at all, but I am trying to remember to wear sunglasses, especially in the summer. Since the surgery, I really just need my glasses for outside, and watching TV, the other side of the living room. I think I might just go back to a pair of prescription sunglasses for driving. WE'lll see how many arms and legs the optician will want from me first! My lovely magnetic sunglasses that attach to my specs cost $70 each time I lose them and have to replace them. LOL

By "edge glare," I mean the curved shimmer that the edge of the lens produces when the light glares off of it. My brain has almost learned to filter it out.

That's exactly what I do. I even had an inexpensive pair made to leave in the car just in case.
I also left the big sunglasses that fit over your regular glasses, the ones they give you right after the surgery, in the glove compartment. When they built the roads here they made sure that our main road was exactly east/west so when you try to drive at 4 pm at this time of year you are so blinded by the sun that I've even worn the clunky ones over my sunglasses.

Funny, our cat is a stray who took over our house a couple of years ago and still spends lots of time outside, and he doesn't try to climb the tree, but he loves to lay under it. He looks like he's posing among the presents!
