Of the bowel type ??
I wouldn't be surprised if some folk went that far
I am sure some of the young males in the correct age group do! Any bodily function seems to be source of merriment to them, I used to want to wop my son when he was in that phase.
It's strange we have been chatting about Facebook, and I just got a notice from an "older" friend of mine that she now has a facebofok page, and invited me to join!
Hmmmmm, I will think about it.

Tell me about it...
I'm another one who will defend facebook. Okay, maybe defend isn't the correct word.
I've kept my info private and my friends' circle fairly small. I don't download apps, except in one weak moment when I started playing bejeweled blitz...I don't see a lot of crap because of facebook because I practice safe computing.
And the benefit of all this? Sure, I've connected to some old friends. But even better is that we have is a large group of family members who are all on facebook. This is how I found out my niece is going to Italy in the fall, otherwise I might not have known until the next time I went to NH. We see everyone's graduation photos right away. We're having an extended conversation and it's usually entertaining. We make each other laugh. I'm enjoying it. And I only check in once a day.
Plus - I've got stitching friends on facebook, too!

On a related note, kids don't call anymore either - they text. I almost daily have to tell my kids to CALL me if they need something/ want to tell me something.
