My mobility scooter arrived at last and it`s GREAT! So good to know I can go visiting friends on my own sometimes, or just pop to the shops. We`re both having fun with it and now we can BOTH take Maggie (the dog ) out, taking it in turns with the scooter. I ride it when my leg hurts and John has a go when his back gives out. Maggie has decided that she likes it too - and just hops on for a lift!!! I just have to watch that she doesn`t catch her very long, flowing tail in anything.
It`s been far too hot to do much with it today, but we had fun with it this evening when it was just a little cooler. They`re prmising us temperatures of possibly 100F on Thursday! Pretty incredible for England, and we`re not looking forward to it at all. Then, of course, thunderstorms are promised - but they always seem to miss us. I love them, too!
Can`t wait until tomorrow.
