Okay, I've googled my fingers off and can't find what I'm looking for. What other search engines have any of you used with luck to find something somewhat obscure?

I use rctn. If I cannot find anything, I ask here, and it is all the tea in China to a bad egg that someone knows the answer.

There are a couple of very nice ones in Neiman's. Of course the price might be a bit more then what you're willing to spend, but here's one of them :

I use . It is a "super search engine" that searches several search engines at the same time so I don't have to waste my time (dial-up connection) hopping from one place to another. It has an "advanced search" that I use sometimes that can help if I'm not really sure of the best way to search. That was one of the more fun parts of working in the library. Helping someone find the information they wanted when they weren't sure how to go about it. It is like solving a puzzle. :-))) Good luck! Liz from Humbug
