I have a SIL that's a fan of puzzles of all sorts, but especially jigsaws. Does anyone know of an online site for these?

Phyllis,
One of the more popular ones is
A couple of years ago I got a jigsaw game from
Catherine ==Not nuts, just a little eccentric==
Pogo has a really cool game called "Jigsaw Detective." The set up is really nice and you can choose skill levels.
I would also recommend, if you haven't already, the Puzz 3-D computer games. They are computerized 3-D jigsaw puzzles of buildings, and after you complete the puzzle, you can actually take a virtual tour of the building and learn all about the architecture and history of the building. I did the one for Notre Dame, and it was brilliant.

Guilty as charged - and it`s still the best I`ve ever come across. If you sign up (it`s free!) they even send you a fresh one every day, and there is a vast range of subjects to choose from on it`s site - enough to keep him going for literally MONTHS. You can even choose how many pieces and what style of "cut" you want to use.

Here's one that I like a lot. A different puzzle every day, some of them quite difficult:
Oh no!!! like I don't have enough ways to waste time on the Internet. LOL! Thanks for the site Ann Cheers, ruby
You are welcome, but you should really blame Pat. She even admitted her guilt in an earlier message.
Now if you are really looking to (not)waste some time on the Internet then you should (not) go to
That wasn`t me, anyway - don`t go for cartoon cutesy type pets. Now, REAL ones like your Puff and our Maggie, is a whole new ball game!
Think I must check out the Jigzone.com gallery again, instead of just doing the daily one - they seem to have sneaked in some new ones here and there. Darn - and I thought I`d done them all. Which format do you prefer? I like the 154piece classics.
Pat P
I have the jigzone daily puzzle but I vary the cut because I found that I was placing pieces by their size/shape, rather than really matching colours etc.
I wish they would put all the pieces to one side, it's a drag to move them out of the way.
No-one seems to have invented that yet - and I find that others are a lot worse for working space. You can`t seem to get one with as many cuts and choice of piece numbers, either. Picky, picky, picky!!!
Pat P
They can make it solve itself, so I would have thought a click that would move the pieces to the side would be simple enough. I wonder if anyone has ever told them they would like that feature?
I just did mine - today it was a stupid emu and too easy to do. I believe we noted once that we don't all get the same picture daily, what did other people receive today?
John always suggests I make it solve itself - but he hates jigsaws, card games, and board games,
I got the Emu. The way we get different ones is probably something to do with the timezones, do you think?
Pat P
I like either the 154 piece classic or the 184 piece crazy. The hardest one I ever did was the map of the London tube system with tiny little blocks. They got rid of that cut. I think it something like 350 identical little rectangles. It took me around two hours to finish that one.

I always have the sound on so you get that satisfying "clunk". Easily pleased, me!

Another good time-waster is popcap.com. Lots of games; I'm totally addicted to Zuma. All hail the mighty Incan frog god.

Funny, I like that sound too!
