I don't think you should be insulted - age & experience are things to be proud of (how's that for an answer). Seriously, given the dates/subjects of the quiz, I thought many younger folks would have some issues - not everyone has familiarity with subjects like this which pre-date their birth!

And I was so sure you'd have the great memory for those fun things of your childhood.

Sorry guys, my life is distracting right now and I'm not doing much on the trivia scene. Maybe in a few months when things calm down.

I didn't....I have always disliked movies and was not allowed to see them as a child. My mother took me to Dumbo and I cried all the way through it. As a school trip we saw Henry Vth... As far as Saturday movies, I wasn't allowed to go, and had no desire either.

So, with this history I have never enjoyed them and watch only with a Friend, or DH. Someone who really wanted to see it/them.

I haven't been to a movie theater in about 3 years, and probably only 1 or 2 in the 20 years before that, but I do watch them on TV.

Oh dear - that is too funny

It was even worse today . It said MUsic D through G or some such thing. I thought Elgar Delibes, Dvorjak, Grieg.....none of these folk who I care less about and DO NOT call it music. Vent over..sorry guys for the abysmal score.

I'm really not a movie lover, but I did well with those. The music I sucked at. I guess I don't have much knowledge of the lyrics of the more contemporary artists, do I-------

I've done much better than I thought - must be having kids into some of it.

How do you remember these things? I am so bad at remembering dates.

It was yesterday....and it was still a good day. We did nothing special, but I did cook a "seafood" feast for dinner. With Jim's no-carb diet it is easier for me to cook at home, than to go out. You never know what sugar or starch gets plonked in some of these seemingly healthy dishes.

I bought a couple of cross-stitch mags, and a Florida vegetable Gardening book at B&N...and then went to Lowe's for some plants and a new soaker hose.

Today is clean the RV for a three day foray this week. I also want to transplant my squash plants which I had started indoors with the Aerogrow gizmo.
