Hi, I was wondering if anyone has tried this software to make cross stitch patterns? If so I would love your input as to what you think of it. I'm trying to create a pattern for my own use and some one made a pattern for me but the colors are all wrong. I tried the trial version and it seems like it will work well but I still need some input before I decide to buy it. Thanks Chelsea

If any one has a copy they'd like to get rid off let me know. Thanks

Personally, I use Pattern Maker. However, there should not be that much difference between software by now. As to colors, this is a question of matching the RGB of the various colors. (R red, G green, B blue). So far as I am aware, neither DMC nor Anchor has provided RBG values for their products. Sorry, I cannot help with experience with PC pro.

James, In Pattern Maker, I believe if you go into the Palette, highlight a color in the top portion of the screen and click on Edit, it shows some form of RGB values. Now, whether these were provided by DMC or Anchor themselves, I don't know, but I would think they must be pretty close if they are supposed to be representative of the flosses used in the designing. Just a thought.
