Price check in Aisle 5!

You mean Silkweaver and HeavenLee Creations? No, I wouldn't. When I was at CATS Vegas, I wouldn't even enter the HLC booth, let alone buy anything from them. And I wasn't the only one.

Mmm....a while (like, years). I'm hoping that by building my library of charts and selling them for a few years, they will bankroll the shop. I've decided to call it The Midnight Stitcher and have overnight jammie stitch-ins ever so often (almost kidding about the jammies).

What about those of us that sleep in old tee shirts?

Not that I need any such thing at this time of year, but FOOTIE pajamas, so that we don't have to pack slippers, too, for the walk down the hotel hallway to the stitchers lounge.

P.S. We're having a "cooling trend" -- yesterday, they were predicting

109 for tomorrow, but by this evening, they've reduced that to a mere 101. Brrrrrrr. Maybe I *do* need the footie pajamas after all. :)

It makes me break out in a sweat just seeing that temperature in print! Here it is high summer, the sun shines from a fairly cloud-free sky and today should reach 59 degrees. Fortunately at night it drops back to more comfortable 49 degree (Fahrenheit that is, not the new-fangled Centigrade or Celsius).

It's not too bad once you get acclimated. Before I moved here, I would've thought like you, but 15 years later, I can say "cooling trend to 108" with a perfectly straight face.

Besides, I have medical problems that feel better in heat than in cool/damp, so I've actually learned to like it over 110. The one time that my hands don't hurt at all.

Hotel??? I was thinking good ol' fashioned slumber party.

I'll go take a picture of the building I've my eye on and post it. It has managed to stay empty for most of the entire 7 years I've lived in this burg.
