Tambour Beading

I have now received the equipment and instruction books on this beading technique. I realise it will take time to master the actual technique, but would be grateful to hear of anyone who does this type of embroidery, and can help a beginner.

Thanx and cheers

contact Azalea at: snipped-for-privacy@azaleadesigns.comSee if Azalea will help once you get your feet wet. :-) She is a master at it. I learned how to do satin stitch with a tambour hook. Now, not perfect, but I was totally amazed . . . not realizing this was even possible.

She may have a book or "class" that is more informative than the instructions you currently have.

Thank you for the link, but I am afraid azalea's product costs are almost double that of US and Australian suppliers, not to mention the postage costs as well!

I am actually looking for an embroiderer who does tambour beading who can perhaps give a beginner any tips.

Thanx again
