Just a thought: if your friend designed the consortium page, he needs to try several different browsers. It's not showing well in Firefox. Also, mention to him that he needs a portfolio page. Something like this will do:

Thanks for the suggestion. He's young, so I'm not sure how much of a portfolio he has.
His mom and I have been friends for decades, so all I was interested in was his ability to take what I can create on paper and translate it to the screen (when Nathalie wanted me to learn HTML, I was in the depths of a relapse and could barely make sense of English, much less learn a new language) and host at a reasonable price. I didn't want flashing lights and dancing letters, just a nice serious business site, and that's what I got.
