We had snow squalls today, a bit more than they forecast, but not a messy big one, good luck !

Supposedly, I'm getting socked tomorrow night. First snow delay? No school day (no, no anything but that)

If anyone wants to visit, feel free. We had a lot of rain and a high of 82 this afternoon. Weird weather even for here in sunny Florida.

They said on the news at six here that we can expect a longer, colder winter than usual, certainly as far back as the early 90s. The high Arctic on the other hand, is to have a milder winter than usual - should I move I wonder ??? Longer, colder ??? Hate that !

Go to Lucille's. Don't come here. We had a low of freezing overnight.

Whatever happened to Global Warming?

I guess it looked around and decided that it didn't really like the cold, snowy weather so it settled down here.

They expect this kind of warm weather at least until some time at the end of this week. Will summer never end for me ???

You want to trade, I'll leave the key under the mat. You leave your key under your mat.

No trade but there's always room for one more.

We had "chilly" (chortle, chortle) weather last week. Overnight lows in the 40's, daytime highs in the low 60's. Tweeds and sweater weather. Now, today, low last night 65, high today mid 70's, forecast to be 82 tomorrow. Monday, forecast to be down to 65 again.

Oh well. Have to turn on the Weather channel every morning before I get dressed, to see whether or not the new "front" has come through yet.

We had two days when it went ALL THE WAY down to about 68, but that didn't last very long. My sweaters and jackets are starting to feel like stepchildren and they're crying out for some attention.

It's supposed to cool off a bit but given their track record this year I have absolutely no faith in the weather forecasters.

Blowing raspberries in your direction. Wind chill in the single digits all day and the rink was FROZEN

Hi Carol,

I'm in Appleton. I take full credit for this storm. I sent my snowblower to the show be get ready for the season, but at a very bad time. The good news is, it's an expensive repair, so we won't have any snow for the rest of the season when I get it back! Ha.

You had rain???? Last month ( Nov) we had .08 inches at my house. it is sooo dry! The last gew days have been so awfully humid; between 65 and

100%. Jim has been trying to stain the deck, but the humidity has really thwart his efforts. I need to get out of this FFFFFFingFlorida!

You can have that horrible humidity Gill - even tho' I know you don't want it. We had a mini snowstorm today - 10 cm - only trouble is it really cooled off to a minus 17 with the wind chill and the roads are sheets of ice. Just watching out my window tonight - there were 4 accidents on the same curve on the main road. Listening to the police band and the number of accidents is unreal. I wouldn't mind winter at all if only the roads stayed clear. Nice and warm in my jammies with a big glass of red wine. :-))

We've had so much rain in the last week or so that I've got waterfront property, and I'm not on the water. The ground is so saturated that it just won't take anymore and the puddles are deep enough to splash around in.

Isn't it supposed to be?

You see, Sharon, that is exactly why I want to move north where there are seasons. Remember, we are retired; so the roads are icy, big deal! Get out the wine, defrost a steak , throw a log on the fire and stay home!!!

Someone actually looked at our house today... after a year on the market. They are looking to move north; they live in southern Florida, Palm Beach I think!
